Our Goal:  Whether you're an adult or a child, our goal with lessons is to teach people how to really ride a horse. We want our riders to know how to feel out any horse they choose to ride, and be able to ride in any place they want. Whether our riders want to ride: trail, endurance, open show, Class A show, ride in an arena, rope, or ride out on vacation. When our riders get on that horse, we want them to know what to do, where they want to do it!

Our Lessons:

Start in the arena, once a concept is learned, we head out to trail to practice in a real life situation. We have no less than 8 beginner horses, they are calm enough for a beginner, and trained enough for a rider; each one with it's own unique personality to learn. You won't find what we call "passenger" or "robot" horses here...horses that will walk circles, or follow another horse, whether or not their rider knows how to communicate with them. We do though have very good minded horses that are different levels, for riders to continue learning their skills.

We don't: buy and sell horses, nor do we get our main bread and butter from boarding. What does this means to our lesson riders? We won't be pushing you, or your children, to purchase a horse; and board it. We want our riders to be able to progress in their learning, if one purchases a horse before their ready for their last "step up" horse, it is very hard to undo that bond, and because of this, they stop progressing in their sport. We want our riders to be able to use our horses, like they are their own, without the expense, time, & deep, long term emotional commitment, ownership entails.

*if after 6 months of continual, regular lessons, a rider really wants to purchase a horse, we are happy to help them navigate that journey. That will be up to the rider to broach the subject, not us.

We are open: 7 days a week, from early morning through dusk, if you don't see a time that will work for you, just call!

To achieve this: we teach everything from the ground up. We'll teach how to catch, saddle, handle a horse on the ground, and get plenty of saddle time in to learn, and practice, these new skills.

We begin: one on one with an instructor. Since horses communicate through body language, we want to be able to discern that the rider is properly communicating with the horse. After a good rapport has been established, one can then start riding with other riders.
*We have enough instructors to teach multiple family members at one time!

For our children taking lessons: once the child is ready to practice their newly learned skill on a trail lesson, we always invite parents to come ride with us...complimentary!

We offer: the ability to show horses, both in English and Western, and at Trail competitions.

We specialize in: a personal riding experience for our riders. This means once a rider  finds one of our horses they love, that horse will always be available for them to ride.
Our trail guides, and lesson instructors, always work one on one with our riders.  We are open 7 days a week, from early morning to dusk. This allows us to accommodate our riders’ schedules.
