Our sale hours are good forever! They are the purchaser's to use for ride time at their discretion. We do not put an expiration date on them, and they hold full value forever. Take your time booking, gift them to someone special, or reschedule if the time isn't right, we'll still honor them. Please refer to safety information, in case we need to add additional accommodations to the ride. For more information, please read about our sale hours on the payments and fees tab, or under our terms tab.

Our trails include:

- always includes a free 30 minutes in the arena. This allows our riders to not only get used to the horse they are riding, it allows us to help them with any riding skills they may need.  Our trails are booked by the hour. We do not have a maximum amount of hours, but they are booked in one hour increments.  Please remember to add the free 30 minutes to the hour. For example, a one-hour trail ride would technically be an hour and a half on the horse. We can ride for up to 6 hrs, at all gaits, without doubling back.

  - -Many couples/riding parties have a mix of beginner, and more experienced riders. This is not a problem. Our guides, at certain points of the trail, can walk/jog with the beginner/novice rider further up the trail. Our more experienced rider then holds back with a guide, allowing them to canter/lope up to the other rider. This allows both riders to ride to their preferred level on trail, in a relaxed setting.

  - Although we encourage children and new riders to book a lesson prior to riding trail,  we do find that adults and children 9 and up can typically gain the basic skills for trail during the free 30 minutes.  For children under 9 yrs old, if available, the trail guide may possibly pony their horse on trail. Please call to discuss a lesson or availability of guide prior to booking a trail. This technique includes the trail guide with a rope that is attached to the child's horse.  This allows the child to ride to their ability while still allowing their trail guide to have control of their horse.  We do not allow parents to ride double with their children.

-We have a First Responder's program: For all full time Police and Fire fighters, they ride free, Family rides at 10% off.
  - We Offer Off-site trail riding, at places that would normally require one to own a horse.  We will haul our horses to camping trips and local trails.

Need to know

- Our "step up" horses are categorized this because they are more trained, have lighter cues, and have naturally faster gaits (there's a good chance, if you're American, and didn't understand that last sentence, you're not a seasoned rider). If a novice "clamps down" on a above novice horse, it is going to comply and move out faster, immediately. We spend A LOT of time making sure we can offer a highly trained horse, that is extremely solid on trail, to our upper level riders.
*A seasoned rider has ridden for years usually, consistently, or taken lessons, or is/was a horse owner. If you have only ridden mostly follow the leader trails, you are not a seasoned rider.
**If the rider is from out of this country, and rides, there's an excellent chance you are able to ride one of our "step up" horses. If you want to ride one of our Arabs, they are so light, you need to be  advanced. Please call, text, or e mail us & we'll be happy to make sure you are well matched.

-Check our Facebook for articles about trail related issues, or information.

  - We do offer the ability to show horses, both in English and Western, and at Trail competitions.

Things you need to contact us about before you book any hours:
Safety of the rider and horse will always be our top priority!
 -  Weight over 200#. This needs to be determined on a case by case rider. More muscular, Height to weight ratio, or more experienced riders usually can weigh more on the regular stock. If not, we're happy to book a ride for our larger stock with a "heads up" call, to insure they are available. We need to know, prior to booking.
 - If you don't speak English for any reason. Obviously there is a communication gap at this juncture, even with an interpreter. Again, experience level of both the rider and the translator will come into play here. As a rule of thumb, expect to need to take a lesson prior to trail. Definitely call us first.
Riders 8yrs old or younger. This is for the enjoyment of the child. Once again, other factors will come into play on this situation. We can accommodate younger riders with no experience riding, but will need the booking rider to make contact with us; prior to booking.

 - Please note: you are booking a time slot. We are turning away other rides for that slot. If one is unable to safely go out to trail, their hour(s) turn into lesson time. If we do not know about the above mentioned issues at time of booking, that slot may stay in the arena, or not be able use said hours. Since we turn away other paying riders for that slot, the payment is non refundable.
